Icon Global Link and SFI International Speak on World’s Best Practice Risk Management at the Global Food Safety Conference in London, England

London, England – February 2011 – Australian companies Icon Global Link (IGL) and SFI International (SFI) have been invited to speak at the 2011 London Global Food Safety Conference. The annual conference to take place between 16-18 February brings together the best in the food safety business across a wide spectrum of international experts including government, industry and science. Participants are able to share knowledge, discuss and explore the best solutions for strengthening food protection.

Joe Giblin of IGL and Peter Gillson of SFI were invited to attend the conference after making a great impression on industry leaders at the 2010 China International Food Safety and Quality Conference in Shanghai. After attending the risk management presentation, the director of the Consumer Goods Forum, Catherine Francois, praised both for their holistic approach to managing risk.“Your approach to Food Safety and Risk Management you describe in your presentation is one which resonates perfectly with the growing need to manage risk holistically, rather than managing issues in silos” she said. “It provides greater validation and corporate compliance.”
